The kittens come to me for play, cozy and sleep. How ever can I find time to do anything else than playing with the kittens?
Nike is a smart and sweet cat, she is a calm mother and trusts me completely. This is her second litter and I have had the privilege to nurse the kittens with her from day one, he he. Yes, I have been elbows deep in the kittens den with them. Their den is a transport box, with the advantage that when I’m out or at night they can have the top on and when I’m home I can remove the top. So the kittens can bee with us from the start. We live in an small apartment for now and first the kittens den was placed in the living-room next to the sofa and tv. When the kittens start to be able to crawl out of the box around 3 weeks old, they moved to the entrance room. This is in connection to the bathroom and my bedroom, I also have a lot of cloths in the closet there. So when kittens start to come out of the den and run around it is a safe place for them and small enough so they can be litter-box trained. After a week I could expand their living area to also the bathroom and move the litter-box in there. When the kittens grow and get access to the rest of the apartment they are sure of where the litter-box is. That for a small kitten can be hard to find if moved around. At five to six weeks they start to get access to the living-room again, but under surveillance, since there are so many dangers for small kittens like this and a bit far to find the litter-box when the need often is pretty urgent.

The kittens have one older teenage brother (Sikke) and an grumpy uncle (Ethan). Sikke was at first curious of the kittens and thought they looked playfull and fun, but at the same time he was a bit scared of them. He tried to make contact and was for a teenage boy careful, thou the kittens thought he was to rough and would puff-up or go invisible, while slowly crawling away. As the kittens grew Sikke learned to be real sweet with them, thou they are still to small and thinks he is a bit big, wild and scary. Sikke watches them play with a yearn to join in, thou he realized that they are scared of him and will just go the other way. Maybe in a week or tow the kittens will have grown enough to appreciated playing with a big brother. The grumpy uncle on the other hand thinks the kittens are to small to play with and he doesn’t like them climbing or trying to feed on him. Thou the kittens are growing on him and they like their uncle. They sneak up to him when they are tired to be cozy and when they wake up they cant help them selves but start playing with his tail. Ethan tolerates play for a while before he starts telling them off and when they don’t listen he gives a deep sight and leaves to find a calmer place to take a nap in. Thou as the kittens grow they also grow on Ethan and when they get bigger he usually likes to play with them some.
When kittens was almost 2 moths old they stared to play with Sikke, they would run like crazy to chase him around. Norna was also brave enough to start wrestling him a little, before he left. Sikke went off on his own adventures to meet with lady-cats. Now kittens play with etch-other, mummy and uncle Ethan. They will come up to Ethan purr and lay on their back around his front paws and start jabbing at him, Ethan will act as he is biting them on the belly or legs and put his head on them to hold them down. For nap time they can join in with him as long as they are still and the kittens respect Ethan, when he is sleeping the don’t go running on him or so. This could be Ethan and the kittens:
CATNAP
The kittens have been on some trips to during their time with me. For Easter we went 2 days to my mum’s house and 1 day to my friend, who has children, cats and dogs. They have been to the vet 2 times and played around. Sometimes we have gone by car and we have also taken the buss. The kittens will also go with me by buss to Bollnäs and enter a show there.
